Wildside Safari Camp Location Map

A true African safari experience awaits you at Wildside Safari Camp, nestled against the cliffs of the Waterberg Mountain in the Entabeni Safari Conservancy.

Less than a 3 hour drive from Johannesburg, guests can enjoy guided game drives and bush walks with qualified rangers.

Game drives offer guests the chance to encounter lion, rhino and roaming elephant. The ever elusive leopard can also be seen if you are lucky, and even a fleeting glance is a privilege and definitely a highlight of any safari. There are also an amazing variety of birds on the reserve, with as many as 380 species in the summer months.

There is also the opportunity to enjoy scenic helicopter flights, hot air balloon flights, horse riding, quad biking and sunset lake cruises, or visit the Pedi Cultural village which will give guests an authentic glimpse into the lives, celebrations and traditions of one of South Africa's indigenous tribes.

The rustic, unfenced Wildside Safari Camp consists of 20 en-suite tented chalets, including 4 family tents as well.

Dining in the restaurant is an informal affair, where other guests soon become friends. The Wildside Boma is also used for those special evening meals around the open fire, while the pool area is ideal for light lunches.

E CRANE

Start TestimonialJenny the ranger was absolutely fantastic and really made the trip brilliant. Her knowledge on a wide variety of subjects was excellent and she was very personable too. This was my first safari/game park experience but the couple that were there at the same time said that they had never had such a good ranger before and that she was brilliant. The other staff were also great and really friendly. Overall, a thoroughly good experience. End Testimonial

L WILLIAMS

Start TestimonialThe best part was Entabeni. It far exceeded our expectations and I can not imagine having a better experience game viewing anywhere else. It particularly suited us as it is relatively small and seems much more family friendly than some others. Another family there had just come from Kruger and enjoyed Entabeni much more. We had a fantastic ranger who could not have done more for us and feel, that the more expensive options such as Madikwe would not have been better.End Testimonial

S MAPES

Start TestimonialWildside as wonderful as always. Would not hesitate to use Travel Butlers again. Thank you.End Testimonial

S WEEDON

Start TestimonialVery well designed package and exactly as expected. Entabeni was a fantastic recommendation. A lot of the people there were regular safari goers and spoke very highly of their experience as well. The personal service and ability to go off road after the animals was very much appreciated vs Kruger where you have to stick to the roads.End Testimonial

S WINEBERG
