BRITISH Airways’ passengers have rated Cape Town as one of the top 10 places to visit this holiday season. Based on bookings received, Cape Town was the 8th most popular long-haul destination to fly to on Christmas Day.
Topping the list is New York, followed by Paris in 2nd place. Other cities included in the list are Hong Kong (3), Los Angeles (4), Miami (5), Delhi (6), Mumbai (7), Seattle (9) and Boston (10).
Yes, we have seen a huge increase in bookings to Cape Town this year. We also monitor searches through our South Africa travel directory, and over the last 4 months, Cape Town destinations have been clear favorites over other South Africa locations.
