Nyamatusi is located in the Nyamatusi Wilderness area in Mana Pools. The Mana Pools Park itself exudes a feeling of beauty, an untouched wilderness and offers a diversity of different wildlife and bird species, including the endangered and rare wild dog. The Zambezi River itself is famous for its large concentrations of hippos and crocodiles.  

Nyamatusi Camp is situated on the banks of the renowned Zambezi River and is a representation of the surrounding environment. The camp is reminiscent of days gone by and is inspired by nature.

Watch the drama of nature play out before your eyes on daily game drives or thrilling canoeing safaris where you paddle along the tranquil waters of the Zambezi River and take in the pristine scenery of Mana Pools National Park from a unique angle - with maybe the chance to see wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and incredible birdlife. Or head out on a walking safari - away from the comfort of a safari vehicle, all your senses are suddenly awakened when you are on foot and your walking guide will accompany you through the bush while teaching you about animal spoor, interesting insects, plants and the geology of the area.

Fishing on the Zambezi River (catch and release only) and birding safaris are also highlights of a stay here.

All these activities are included in your stay and led by qualified and passionate guides keen to share their knowledge and love of the bush with you.

General Information For Guests

Each suite has its own uninterrupted view of the Zambezi River, en-suite facilities, indoor and outdoor showers, air conditioning, mini bar, yoga mat and weights, private deck and private plunge pool. Each room has in-room charging facilities.

The camp is fully solar powered and built from all-natural materials.

The camp is a 2.5 hour flight from Victoria Falls Airport or a 90 minute flight from Harare Airport landing at Mana Main Airstrip with a 45 minute game drive transfer to camp.
