There are 4 swimming pools at the resort, and guests can also enjoy many other activities including water aerobics, water polo and a fitness centre. There is also a PADI dive centre offering dive adventures 365 days of the year.

The Spa offeres a range of treatments - what could be more relaxing than a massage in a space overlooking the ocean, where you can hear the gentle sound of the waves and enjoy the cooling breeze, all while fragrant oils sooth your senses.

Each of the Ocean Suites face directly on to the stunning turquoise of the Indian Ocean and the incredible reds and golds of the Zanzibari sunsets. They are approximately 96 square meters with a kingsize bed and an over-sized bathroom. On the ocean facing verandah, there is a deck bed designed for 2 from which to watch the world go by.

The Superior Rooms are approximately 78 square meters. Each one has either one king or 2 queen size beds, an oversized bathroom with a double bathtub, a walk in shower and a double sink, as well as a verandah from which to enjoy the beautiful garden, pool and ocean views.

The Superior Deluxe Rooms are on the 3rd floor, offering stunning panoramic views over the gardens, pools and the Indian Ocean. The oversized bathrooms offer a free standing tub, a separate walk in shower and dual sinks. Decorated in colours of dark sand and teal, these rooms offer a beautifully cool and luxurious retreat.

General Information For Guests

All rooms offer air conditioning, coffee and tea making facilities, a mini fridge, a large terrace outside or outside seating area (suites only), a hair dryer, an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and separate walk-in shower, flat screen TV , complementary Wi-Fi, an electronic safe and a direct dial telephone.

A laundry service is offered (additional cost).

Activities include 4 swimming pools, a jacuzzi, water aerobics, water polo, a fitness centre, table tennis, darts and beach volleyball. Evening entertainment is also offered. Once a week dinner is hosted on the beach.

Enjoy open-air seating for breakfast, lunch and dinner at Spices Restaurant and in particular experience the Swahili culture every Saturday night when the Spices team dresses in local attire. The Cliff is an a la carte restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner.  Mapenzi is a relaxed bar and lounge open from 08:00 in the morning until midnight. The Upepo Pool Bar is open from 10:00 until 18:00 and has swim-up access direct from the pool. The Baraza Beach Bar is open from 10:00 until 18:00.
