Dream of Zanzibar Location Map

Located on the north-east coast of Zanzibar, Dream of Zanzibar is a superb resort nestled in the midst of exotic gardens. Set on Kiwengwa’s white sandy shores, the seas are clear blue and shallow, the breeze is gentle and sunshine is plentiful. The exclusive and elegant atmosphere of the hotel is ideal for guests looking for the perfect hideaway.

Dream of Zanzibar has 9 restaurants and bars - so you can lunch at the beachfront Sushi Bar, then dine out at the Italian Andiamo, and the next day drop into the Shark Club on the sand, then prepare for a sensational night of entertainment with an exotic African or Arabian themed dinner.

Dive the reefs, swim with dolphins, strike out in a kayak, play beach volley ball or soccer on the sand; there are loads of activities at Dream of Zanzibar all making the most of the Indian Ocean location. The beach is a kitesurfer’s paradise, and the snorkelling is world class.

The spa is the place to really enjoy some holiday indulgence on your own or with a friend in the couples’ treatment room.  Rest and revive in the mosaic steam room, then choose your dream treatment from an extensive menu that includes therapeutic wraps, scrubs, facials and a range of massage. Many therapies use local ingredients such as mongongo nuts, cinnamon, coffee or African ginger. The spa area also includes a beauty salon, fitness facilities with views over the sand and sea, and a plunge pool for post treatment relaxation.

All the rooms are spacious and overlook the Indian Ocean or tropical gardens. They are created within double storey bungalows, with architecture that blends Zanzibar's Moorish history with African style thatched roofs. Choose from Deluxe Rooms, Junior Suites (10 of which have their own jacuzzi), and the exclusive Beach Front Villas, which are situated right on the beach, each with its own private pool.
