The camp is set within 60 acres of private land with Luangwa River frontage. The views from this riverside location teem with wildlife, plus the lodge's private and direct access into one of the most game rich areas of the National Park all combine to make this a truly special place.
Venture into one of the most game rich areas of the National Park with the award-winning guiding team, either on a game drive, on foot, or on a boat cruise (seasonl activity only). The South Luangwa is renowned for its world-class predator action, with especially strong sightings of the elusive leopard.
In between game activities, pamper yourself with an in-room spa treatment or relax around the pool area.
Each of the 5 suites offers panoramic views of the Luangwa River and the abundant wildlife that frequents its banks. Gigantic, ancient trees offer peace and tranquility for guests staying here, and in addition, each suite has its own private pool, cooled sleeping areas, and a massive bathroom.
There is also one Family Villa, which has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - making this option perfect for families or small groups.
A winding footpath connects the suites and lounge/dining area through the shade of the surrounding msikzi trees.
All meals; bar drinks and house wines; all shared game-viewing activities; Park fees; a laundry service; inter-camp transfers; and transfers to/from Mfuwe Airport are included.

Bush Walks / Walking Safaris
Children under the age of 12 years are not permitted on guided walks. A guided walk can last a couple of hours and involve walking over uneven terrain that may contain dangerous wildlife in potentially high temperatures. Guests may need to move quickly and for a sustained period through rough bush terrain if instructed to do so by their guide.
Regardless of age, the final decision on whether a guest can join a guided walk remains with the guide and lodge manager.

General Information For Guests
All the villas are en-suite with a bathtub, lounge, open deck area, sunbeds and a private pool. Each villa has mains power, air conditioning, a hair dryer, mosquito nets, tea/coffee making facilities, a safe, and a fan.
There is also one family tent.
Limited complimentary Wi-Fi is provided in all the villas (please bear in mind it's at bush speed).
The main area consists of the dining area, bar, lounge, outside sitting area, swimming pool and a fire pit.
A limited laundry service (complimentary) is available.
The activites available at Chinzombo include day/night game drives, walking safaris (May to mid November), boating safaris (seasonal), and spa treatments in your villa.
When acquiring Chinzombo's location, a portion of the proceeds funded the relocation of black rhino to North Luangwa National Park, where the North Luangwa Conservation Programme operate a rhino breeding and reintroduction project.

The drive from Mfuwe Airport is approximately 90 minutes.
