Umbhaba Eco Lodge is situated just 1 km outside Hazyview on the R40, between Hazyview and White River, and only 15 km from either the Numbi and Phabeni entry gates into the Kruger National Park.  Visitors to the Park can enter via one gate and exit via another, so greatly increasing the chances of seeing abundant wildlife in the different areas as well as being able to enjoy a variety of scenery.

Surrounded by natural, indigenous bush including the Umbhaba Tree (Lowveld Chestnut) after which the lodge is named, the lodge is built among stunning dams and water features, overlooking the Sabie valley in the distance. Home to abundant bird life, the gardens are the perfect location for a sundowner after an amazing safari in the Kruger National Park.

Accommodation consists of tastefully decorated Standard and Superior rooms.  The Superior Rooms are larger and have a spacious living area and a balcony overlooking the dam.

The Tuskers restaurant overlooks the stunning Sabi valley in the distance. It has a relaxed atmosphere where guests can wind down at the end of a day full of activities. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating options.
