This one-week adventure gives you the chance to experience Cape Town and stay in truly quirky and unique accommodation, followed by a Big 5 safari in the malaria-free Amakhala Game Reserve where you will sleep in a safari tent under starry skies.
During your 4 nights in Cape Town, you will stay at the Grand Daddy Hotel - a legendary city centre hotel in bustling Long Street. The Grand Daddy Boutique Hotel is home to the only designer Rooftop Airstream Trailer Park in the world and the 7 authentic Airstream trailers each have their own individual decor theme and collectively reflect a typically South African road trip. The Airstream trailers are incredible works of craftsmanship and their classic shape is unforgettably iconic.
You will then fly across to Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape for your safari experience.
The secluded Woodbury Tented Camp is intimate and rustic, and offers guests the opportunity to experience the romance of sleeping under canvas coupled with superb game viewing. This is glamping in style, as each tent is situated on a raised base with its own private deck, allow guests to enjoy a rare intimacy with nature. Each tent also has en-suite bathroom with hot running water, the option of kingsize or twin beds and electric blankets for those cosy evenings. Each day you'll set off on 2 game drives through the Amakhala Game Reserve in search of wildlife. Guided by an experienced ranger on an open safari vehicle, look for the Big 5, black wildebeest, cheetah, giraffe, zebra and numerous antelope.

After you return from your morning game drive you will have time to enjoy breakfast at the lodge before you are collected and transferred to Port Elizabeth Airport, arriving in time to check in for your onward flight either back to Cape Town or to Johannesburg, where you will then check in for your flight home.
