Victoria Falls Safari Lodge Location Map

Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is ideally located just 4 kilometres from the majestic Victoria Falls. Set high on a plateau, the lodge is westward facing overlooking a waterhole, which attracts herds of buffalo, elephant, giraffe, zebra, as well as night-time predators, such as lion and leopard. The view over the African bush at sunset is one not to be forgotten.

The split-level MaKuwa-Kuwa restaurant overlooks the waterhole too -  and the views alone guarantee a memorable dining time on top of the impeccable service, exquisite meals and fine selection of South African wines.

The main facilities include a complimentary hourly bus shuttle to the village market and Victoria Falls Rainforest, a curio shop and Activities Desk, a guest library, lounge and games room, a swimming pool with sun deck, a TV lounge with satellite link. There is also complimentary Wi-Fi access in all rooms and public areas.

There are 72 rooms and suites at the lodge.  Each standard room has either a double bed or twin beds, a bathroom with a luxury bath and separate shower, and a balcony overlooking the National Park and facing the sunset.  The spacious deluxe rooms each have a mini bar and private balcony with prime views of the waterhole.

The suites are duplex style, with an open plan lounge leading onto a private balcony with spectacular views. An open staircase leads up to the bedroom and en-suite raised bathroom with a large luxury bath and separate shower cubicle with massaging jets.

General Information For Guests

All rooms have a private balcony, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a ceiling fan, hair dryer, in-room safe and a mini bar.

The lodge has a swimming pool with a sun deck, spa, TV room, plus a bar and restaurant.

The onsite guide can take you on a walk down to the Siduli Hide, which overlooks the waterhole. This is an amazing opportunity to have a close-up experience with game and is brilliant for photos. Times will vary slightly with the seasons, but you will normally set off for the hide at 06:15 and at 16:15 in the afternoons (additional cost and times subject to change).

There is also a Bird Hide which is surrounded by nature trails - both can be explored without the need for a guide/group tour.

All guests at the resort, as well as visitors to the Lodge are invited to enjoy this daily educational activity affectionately referred to as the ‘Vulture Culture’ experience. It focuses on the ecological importance of raptors and scavengers in order to maintain and to build an overall awareness of conservations issues these birds face. The experience occurs daily at 13:00 (subject to change) in front of the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, and lasts approximately 30 minutes. This is great opportunity for photography and bird identification.

A laundry/dry cleaning service is offered (additional cost).

There is a complimentary shuttle bus to Victoria Falls town.
