There is a personal atmosphere to Ursula’s, which feels more like a remote bush home than hotel, and there is the option of booking it out exclusively.
Optional game drives into the 4,000 hectare reserve depart from the lodge and during the 3 hour drive guests can expect to see the Big 5 (including black rhino) along with a great variety of antelope and exceptional bird-life.
The 4 garden rooms accommodate 8 guests in total. From each room’s terrace, French doors open into a spacious double bedroom (configured as twin or triple, to sleep a little one, on request), including a dressing table, beverage station, minibar and wardrobe, adjoining an en-suite with a walk-in shower. It makes for a comfortable stay, encouraging you to make yourself at home. Pour a cuppa and settle back against the pillows or pad outside to enjoy a morning coffee, while watching giraffe and buffalo arrive to the watering hole.
The main guest area and terrace, fire-pit, pool area, and the rooms are all set in a semi-circle to take in wide-open views of the natural reserve.
