Riva's Bar and Restaurant, located next to the swimming pool, is exclusive to hotel guests and is the ideal spot to lunch without venturing far from the pool and provides an intimate, candle-lit dining experience by night.
The 29 rooms are awash with white walls, vivid ocean blues and Swahili architecture with a contemporary twist. The 10 Sea Breeze Rooms are situated in the main building, and can accommodate one extra bed, and some also have interconnecting doors, making these ideal for families. The 3 spacious Ocean View Suites are just a few short steps from the beach and have a separate living room and a sea facing terrace. The 3 Ocean View Superior Suites are on the first floor, and offer breathaking ocean views. Both Suites types can also accommodate one extra bed.
The 3 Family Ocean View Suites all have 2 en-suite bedrooms, and are situated on a prime beachfront location. There is also a private villa which sleeps up to 12 people, making this perfect for families and groups looking to enjoy a luxurious break at the coast.

General Information For Guests
All the rooms are individually interior designed and furnished with an inspired combination of Swahili objects d’art furniture and the finest mahogany woodwork.
The en-suite rooms all have air-conditioning, complimentary WiFi and a minibar, but they do not have TVs. There is a television in the communal lounge of the main building.
There is one fresh water, galana stone swimming pool at Nomad with a depth of 5 meters.
The Sands at Nomad has an onsite watersports center and is the main base for Kenya’s leading diving school, Diving the Crab. They also offer yoga classes, spa and beauty treatments, special tasting sessions in the wine cellar, deep sea fishing expeditions, forest walks and visits to an onsite Marine Education Center. Other activities include camel riding, boat rides to a sand island, dolphin spotting and day trips to Chale Island. Guests can also enjoy a workout at nearby tennis courts and a round of golf at an 18-hole championship golf course.
The Sands at Nomad does not have a Kids Club but there are a diverse range of sights and activities for children and families to enjoy. They offer guided forest walks, a Marine Education Center, snake shows, a turtle relocation nesting site, watersports activities and beach side entertainment from a talented group of local acrobats. Babysitting services are offered on an hourly or daily basis.
The Sands at Nomad offers guests a first-class dining experience serving a selection of dishes from around the world.
Breakfast is available from 8.00am – 10:30am, with locally grown fruits, cereals, homemade pastries, breads, hams, cheeses, fresh fruit juices and Kenyan tea and coffee.
An extensive lunch and dinner menu is available from late morning until 10:30pm at Nomad Beach Bar and Restaurant offering the finest international cuisine. This includes homemade, wood-fired pizzas and a mouth-watering sushi menu.
Riva's Pool Bar offers a range of snacks and light bites than can be enjoyed poolside throughout the day. Perfect for those wanting a relaxed lunch of just something to keep them going in the afternoon.
Riva's Grill offers a fantastic range of dishes for all tastes. The fresh ingreidants ared cooked over open fire, and dinners can enjoy great flavours prepared in the tradional local way.
Teppanyaki is more than just dinner, it's entertainment and an experience bringing together the wonderful flavours of asian cusine and skill of the chefs as they prepare your meals at your table.
The Indulge restaurant offers fine dining at the beach, with a choice from a number of set menus prepared by the chef for everyone on your table to enjoy. These meals are perfectly balanced to showcase the local flavours and can be paired with a number of wines from the cellar.
