One of the most luxurious tented safari camps in South Africa, Tanda Tula is situated in the 60,000 hectare Timbavati Game Reserve, which is adjacent to the Kruger National Park. Guests can enjoy a true bush experience, and with no fences in-between the Park and the reserve, there is plenty of opportunity to view the huge diversity of wildlife that Africa has to offer, including the Big 5.
Early morning and evening safaris are conducted in open Land Rovers, and daily walks are offered with professional rangers and trackers.
The camp's focal point is the open-sided bar-lounge which overlooks the watering hole, where animals come to drink throughout the day and night. Guests can also enjoy a refreshing dip in the barside pool.
Dinners are served in a variety of venues, from private dinners on your deck, a barbeque at the water hole or in the river bed, to around log fires in a traditional open-air boma.
Tanda Tula's excellent cuisine is assured to enhance your bush experience.
The words 'private', 'secluded' and 'tranquil' best describe the Tanda Tula safari experience. This intimate camp is renowned for its charming service and passionately well informed staff.
The 12 magnificent thatched East Africa style tents, with their spacious wooden decks overlooking the dry riverbed, are the epitome of luxury.
The en-suite bathrooms feature sumptuous Victorian baths and outdoor showers.
Special offers for longer stays or when booked as part of a longer itinerary may apply - details on request.
