Set on a hill bordering the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and overlooking unspoilt bush, Stanley Safari Lodge is only 3 km from the Victoria Falls. The views are splendid - the spray of the Falls in the distance, the mighty Zambezi river and on top of that yet another beautiful African sunset. From either the main garden, the infinity pool or from the privacy of your room, views are unmatched.

The atmosphere at Stanley Safari Lodge is tranquil and intimate, and with only 10 private cottages or suites your hosts are able to give you an unmatched level of entirely personalised service.

The open-sided Main House has been designed with space and views in mind and has a truly African feel. Enjoy sundowners in the African style lounge, or spend some quiet time in the library or upper deck discovering the secrets of Africa.

The private table set-up ensures you can enjoy your dinner from any place you desire. Just pick a spot - on the upper deck, in the wine cellar, outdoors under the stars or in the infinity pool? Or maybe you would like to have a romantic private dinner in the room? It's all possible at Stanley Safari Lodge. And the European-style cuisine with an African twist will make sure it will meet your appetite.

The accommodation will definitely make your stay at Stanley Safari Lodge special, and from every room you are able to see the spray of the Victoria Falls, the Zambezi River and the African sunset.

There are 4 suites. Each suite has a lounge area as well as the bedrom and an en-suite bathroom, plus a private plunge pool with a deck or terrace. Two of the suites (the Honeymoon Suite and the Family Suite) are open suites, which enables you to absorb the sights and sounds of the African bush fully.  The other 2 suites (the Livingstone Suite and the Stanley Suite) are closed, with a colonial interior that evokes the elegant safari era.  The Stanley Suite has 2 bedrooms, making this an ideal choice for families or for friends travelling together.

The 6 cottage are all built with natural materials and from your deck or terrace you can enjoy the splendid views of the Zambezi Valley. Five of the cottages have an open structure to further enhance to your Zambian experience.

Rates Include

All meals; local branded drinks and house wines; a laundry service; transfers to and from Livingstone Airport; a Victoria Falls tour (Zimbabwe and Zambia sides - Visa fees and entry fees NOT included); mountain biking; walking safaris in Mosi-oa-Tunya Park (to see rhinos); and a village/museum tour are included.

General Information For Guests

All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with double basins, bath tubs or showers.

The Stanley doubles up as a family suite as it is 2 bedroomed; this coupled with the other offerings of the suite affords families some exclusivity.

All of the cottages have a bath and shower with all the luxuries you might desire. From the deck or terrace you can enjoy the splendid views of the Zambezi Valley.

The main area has a swimming pool and credit card services (Visa, Amex or MasterCard)

The lodge runs off mains electricity with a backup generator.

The activities available include safaris in Mosi O Tunya National Park, Chobe day trips, elephant rides, lion walk, horse riding, visits to authentic African villages, museums, markets, helicopteror or microlight flights, canoeing, fishing, river safari, sunset cruise, rafting, bungee jumps, river boarding, absailing, gorge swing and of course the Victoria Falls.

Tap water is from a borehole (filtered) and is safe for drinking; bottled water is also provided free of charge.
