Summary Of The Route and Costs
On this 7 night fly-in safari adventure, you will become aquainted with two Porini camps - Porini Amboseli and Porini Lion. A Porini Safari is the ideal safari for the true wildlife enthusiast who wishes to get close to nature to enjoy an undisturbed personal adventure with a knowledgeable and qualified safari guide, using customised open-sided 4x4 safari vehicles and escorted nature walks in private Conservancy areas.
When you visit a Porini Camp, you are also directly supporting the country’s biodiversity and for over three decades Porini have been working with local communities in Kenya to increase habitat for wildlife. The Porini Camps are all environmentally-friendly Eco-Camps which have been established in exclusive Wildlife Conservancies and are carefully managed to ensure that local communities, the environment and visitors all benefit.
Over your 7 nights, you will stay 3 nights at Porini Amboseli, situated in the private Selenkay Conservancy bordering the Amboseli National Park. Enjoy shared game drives with excellent guides in the Selenkay Conservancy and into the Amboseli National Park, an escorted walk with Maasai warriors to visit an authentic Maasai village to learn the way of life of the Maasai community, and night game drives in the Selenkay Conservancy to seek out the nocturnal animals. Oh, and not forgetting evening sundowners at scenic spots!
You then fly to the Masai Mara for a 4 night stay at the award-winning Porini Lion Camp in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy - a pristine and exclusive 33,000 acre wilderness bordering the Masai Mara Reserve. Only the game viewing vehicles belonging to the camp are allowed to drive in the conservancy, so if your morning game drive is on the conservancy, you can be certain that all you will spot will be wildlife!

Arrive into Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta Airport.
After you have had your passports stamped by the Immigrations Officer, proceed to the Baggage Hall to collect your luggage and then go through Customs and exit the building onto the street outside, where our representative will be waiting to meet you, holding a signboard displaying your name. He will introduce you to your driver and you will then be transferred to the nearby Wilson Airport, where you will check in for your morning flight to the Amboseli National Park.
Safarilink 011 (Light Aircraft): Fly from Wilson Airport (WIL) departing at 07:30 to Amboseli Airstrip, arriving at 08:30
You will be met at the airstrip and transferred to your camp. 10 miles north of Amboseli National Park is the Porini Amboseli Camp in the Selenkay Conservancy. Selenkay shares the same eco-system as Amboseli and this pioneering conservancy is an important wildlife dispersal area for wildlife moving out of the Park. The conservancy has no more than one tent per 700 acres and about one vehicle per 1,400 acres. This exclusive conservancy ensures the best possible game viewing in proper off-road safari vehicles away from other tourist vehicles and minibuses. During a 3 night stay here you can enjoy shared safari game drives with excellent guides in the Selenkay Conservancy, a full day game drive (with picnic lunch) in the Amboseli National Park to get close to the elephants and other wildlife, an escorted walk with Masai warriors to visit an authentic Masai village, as well as night safari game drives in the Selenkay Conservancy to seek out the nocturnal animals.
Amboseli National Park
After breakfast you will be transferred back to the airstrip where you will board your flight back to Nairobi Wilson.

You will be assisted to connect with your onward flight to the Masai Mara Reserve.
Safarilink 001 (Light Aircraft): Fly from Wilson Airport (WIL) departing at 10:00 to Masai Mara Airstrip, arriving at 11:00
You will be met at the airstrip and transferred to your safari camp, arriving in time for lunch. The award-winning, eco-friendly Porini Lion Camp offers a unique opportunity to take guided walks with Masai Warriors and experience day and night game drives within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy - a pristine and exclusive 33,000 acre wilderness set aside for wildlife conservation and low-impact tourism. The camp adheres to strict eco-friendly and responsible eco tourism principles. There are limits on densities and every tent pays to protect 700 acres of wilderness which also helps to reduced the number of vehicles in the conservancy.
Masai Mara
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to the airstrip (enjoying a game drive en-route) where you will board your flight back to Nairobi.
Safarilink 002: Fly from Masai Mara Airstrip departing at 11:00 to Wilson Airport (WIL), arriving at 12:20
You will be met from your flight and transferred to the nearby Emara Ole Sereni Hotel, where you will have a day room at your disposal so that you can freshen up. The room will need to be vacated by 18:00 but you can then head to the restaurant/bar for dinner (own account).
You will then be collected and transferred back to Jomo Kenyatta Airport, arriving in time to check in for your flight home.
