Suggested Holiday Itinerary

Summary Of The Route and Costs
This 10 night itinerary is ideal if you are a bit short on time, but still want to give your teens a safari and beach holiday to remember for years to come.
Begin your holiday of a lifetime by flying into the Madikwe Game Reserve. As you approach the reserve ready to land, you will get your first glimpse from above of Madikwe's amazing wildlife. The Big 5 is represented in the Park and you are likely to spot a lion, leopard, elephant, rhino or buffalo during your stay. During your visit you may also have the rare privilege of seeing the highly endangered African Wild Dog. The Park is home to over 66 species of large mammals and roughly 340 bird species.
You will stay at the 2 bedroomed Owner's House at Morukuru - where each day on safari is exactly yours to do as you please. As the house is only for your family, and there are no other guests about, you can totally treat this as a 'home from home' - but with the added luxury of a team of 8-10 staff on hand to make sure your stay is absolutely memorable. Head out on daily game drives at a time to suit everyone, and track Madikwe's animals. As the only guests on the vehicle, game drives are tailored totally to your preferences.
Inbetween drives, try your hand at fishing in the Marico River, or enjoy a spa treatment in the sala area with the sounds of nature to compliment the experience.
For the daring and for a family adventure never to be forgotten, sleep out in the nearby hide, surrounded by the African wilderness. For those less daring an evening stop at the hide during game drive is a sublime spot to look up at the sparkling night sky and star gaze.
After one night back in Johannesburg, at the Emperors Palace Resort which has restaurants to suit even the most picky of teenage tastebuds, you fly to a Mozambique island for 5 nights on the beach. Parents can lose themselves in peaceful island life around the pool, teenagers can revel in the huge host of watersports and land activities on offer here. The fun starts as soon as you get to the boat transfer, as you need to wade through knee-deep water to get on board.
