After you have had your passports stamped by the Immigrations Officer, proceed to the Baggage Hall to collect your luggage and then go through Customs and exit the building onto the street outside, where our representative will be just outside waiting to meet you, holding a signboard displaying your name. He will introduce you to your driver and you will then be transferred to Wilson Airport, where you will check in and board your flight to Samburu.

Arrive at Samburu an hour later, where your Saruni guide will meet you and transfer you to the lodge, or take you on a game drive.

After lunch you will be taken on a game drive on the Kalama Conservancy, exploring over 200,000 acres of pristine wilderness in total privacy. Enjoy sundowners with a breathtaking view as the sun sets on your first day on safari.
Depart today on an early morning game drive into Samburu National Reserve to seek out the Special 5 of Samburu - the reticulated giraffe, the Grevy's zebra, the Beisa oryx, the Somali ostrich and the gerenuk, all rare species that occur only in this part of the country, and look for its well known larger game including elephants, lion and leopard. Stop for a picnic lunch in the bush before heading back to the lodge to relax for the afternoon. Enjoy a complimentary half hour massage upon arriving back at the lodge.
Continue to explore the wonders of Samburu on a morning game drive. After lunch, head out on a nature walk discovering animals, plants and the caves in the local area with rock paintings, led by skillful and knowledgeable Samburu guides.
Later on, head out on an evening game drive in the Kalama Conservancy, ending with a bush dinner under the stars in the middle of the wilderness, and a night drive back to the lodge. The Samburu dancing with the warriors, candles and fire under the vast African skies make this a truly magical experience, and one of your highlights of your stay.
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred back to the airstrip where you will board your flight to the Mara.

You will be met at the airstrip, and taken on a game drive with a picnic lunch to enjoy under an acacia tree or by the river next to a pod of hippos. You will then be driven to your next camp.
Saruni Wild is a tented camp elegantly and comfortably furnished with all the necessary luxuries of a wild yet classic safari. The camp is located in the heart of the Masai Mara plains, on the border between the Lemek Conservancy and the Mara North Conservancy. Surrounded by pristine, untouched wilderness, the camp has the most classic Masai Mara setting. Enjoy endless views, fire-lit meals under the vast African sky, and guided game drives led by Maasai warriors.
Enjoy an early morning game drive to look for the big cats and other predators of the Mara, returning to camp for lunch. In the afternoon, a game drive will take you to a special area where the biggest herds of giraffe can be seen, followed by dinner at the lodge and an optional night game drive.
This morning you will have the opportunity to take a walk through the valleys and plains, accompanied by a game vehicle, or a game drive up the top of Kilileoni, the highest mountain in the Serengeti-Masai Mara ecosystem, led by your skillful and knowledgeable Masai guides. Return back to camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon you will discover more of Mara North and its neighbouring conservancies and experience first-hand what makes this of the most exciting wildernesses in the world. Weather permitting, experience a bush dinner in the middle of nature under the vast African sky, with Maasai warriors singing and dancing around the fire.
This morning after breakfast you will visit the rhino sanctuary in Mara North on the way to the airstrip and once again admire the hippos and the crocodiles of the Mara River.

You will be met and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta Airport, where you will check in for your international flight home.
