Saruni Wild

Masai Mara

Days 4 - 6: Masai Mara

Saruni Wild Location Map

Saruni Wild is a tented camp elegantly furnished with all the necessary luxuries of a wild yet classic safari. The camp is located in the heart of the Masai Mara plains, on the border between Lemek Conservancy and Mara North Conservancy.  Surrounded by tens of thousands acres of pristine, untouched wilderness, the camp has the most classic Masai Mara setting, surrounded by wildlife. Enjoy endless views, fire-lit meals and Masai dancing under the vast African sky, and guided game drives led by Masai warriors who are trained to the highest standard to provide a thrilling, adventurous but comfortable experience. This is true Africa.

The camp is an ideal base for those interested in watching the Great Migration, but also for all-year round safaris, as the Lemek Conservancy, with a low density of visitors and camps, is considered one of the most prolific areas of the ecosystem.

Walking safaris can also be arranged across the breathtaking landscape, and are individually tailored to your interests. Walking with the Masai warriors through the valleys and plains that surround Saruni Mara is a fantastic experience and one not to be missed.

Located in the nearby Olchorro Conservancy, about 30 minutes from Saruni Wild, is a Rhino Sanctuary/conservation project employing staff from the local community that has been protecting white rhino for the past 20 years. Rhino roam freely on the slopes of the mountain and the unique attraction of this project is approaching the rhino on foot in complete safety, whilst guided by a local ranger.

Elegantly styled, each of the 3 tents has a large veranda with endless views over the vast open plains.

There are 2 luxury double tents, each with a spacious bedroom with a large comfortable queensize bed which can be converted into 2 singles if required, and an en-suite bathroom with a hot water shower and a flushing toilet.

The luxury 2 bedroomed family tent accommodates up to 4 adults or a couple with children, and the en-suite bedrooms can be separated and zipped down for added privacy.
