Tintswalo at Waterfall is a small, intimate boutique hotel offering exceptional luxury and unparalled cuisine.

The hotel is situated on a 200 hectare Equestrian Estate and is only a 10 minute drive north of Sandton and a mere 30 minute drive from the O.R. Tambo International Airport.

The hotel is surrounded by lush polo fields and a network of rivers and dams that run underneath and around the hotel.

Centrally located, guests are able to enjoy a range of nearby activities, ranging from visiting theme parks and going shopping in Johannesburg, to exploring the Wondercaves, home to the oldest remains of humankind.

Each of the 16 suites are extremely spacious, and all have views of either the dam or polo fields from a small balcony, and the distant Magaliesberg mountains and surrounding countryside.

Each suite is individually themed and decorated to the colours and characteristics of specific horse breeds. All suites have air-conditioning, under-floor heating, heated towel rails, flat screen TV, mini bar fridge, internet point and extra length king size or twin beds.

Directions For Drivers

From OR Tambo Airport: When leaving the airport take the R24 Johannesburg highway. Follow the R24 passing the following turn offs - Barbara Road and Van Riebeeck Street. The highway will merge with the N12, continue straight along the freeway. Carry on until you reach a 4 way split in the highway. Follow the signs to the N1 Pretoria.

Stay in the left lane, the road will circle around to the N1. Continue along the N1 passing the following turn offs - Linksfield Road. Modderfontein Road, London Road and Marlboro Drive.

The highway will then split again into 4 different routes. Stay in the left lane and follow this split to Johannesburg, shortly thereafter your will reach the Woodmead off ramp. At the traffic lights at the end of the off ramp, turn right onto the R55/Woodmead Road. Continue along this road until you see the Century/Waterfall Equestrian Estate signs, these are at the Maxwell Drive intersection with the R55.

At the traffic lights at this intersection with Maxwell drive turn left. Very shortly after turning into Maxwell Drive, there is a roundabout. Go around the roundabout to the security entrance boom on your right, and please sign in. Proceed to the parking area in front of the hotel.
