Laikipia Plateau

The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille Location Map

The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille, Laikipia’s first all villa property, is a lodge that is proud to be different. Located at one of the highest points in Laikipia on a secluded 40,000 acre private conservation area and offering spectacular views in every direction, this is a very special property with lots of wow factor.

Ol Lentille is a pioneering example of how private partnerships with the community can successfully work in Kenya. The lodge is in partnership with the neighbouring Maasai and Samburu communities, and successfully balances luxury travel and economic development with ambitious conservation and community development programmes.

Your stay here is not the usual safari format of game drives every morning and evening - as well as these, you can also enjoy all the other activities that Laikipia is renowned for. Most importantly, your stay is designed to be restful - you can wake up in your own time, have a private breakfast in your villa when you like and then do the private activity of your choice - be it a game drive, a walking safari, a camel trek, horse riding, mountain and quad biking, or visiting the local communities.

This flexibility combined with unlimited spa treatments ensures guests relax in this stunning environment and leave totally revitalised!

Four spectacular villas with discreet butler service offer guests a truly special and memorable stay. The villas are one, two or three bedrooms and are all individually designed and themed, and offer an incredibly high standard of accommodation. Guests staying here will experience a very personal and private time in a spectacular wilderness setting coupled with authentic Maasai and Samburu culture.

The main property also boasts a library, spa and stunning infinity pool.
