Nantwich Lodge

Nantwich Lodge

Hwange National Park

Nantwich Lodge Location Map

Nantwich Lodge is a small and intimate eco-lodge that is perfect for those wanting to get off the beaten track, and discover the pristine wilderness and abundant wildlife of Northern Hwange. The lodge itself has been built from the foundations of an old ZimParks outpost, sitting above a large dam with resident crocodile, hippo and boasting some of the best views of the surrounding area.

Wonderfully remote, there are fewer people in this section of the Park and excellent game viewing is provided. The area is known for its high density of lions (often referred to as Big Cat country), large elephant population and sightings of the rare and endangered Painted Dogs.

Experience a full-day game drive or a walking safari in Zimbabwe's largest National Park, accompanied by expertly trained guides.

The flat plains around Nantwich are easy to traverse, and wildlife is easily viewable, all of which provides an excellent environment for guided walking safaris. This is a wonderful opportunity to have a more intimate experience with the surrounding flora and fauna.

Each of the 9 suites have been created in an eco-friendly way and can sleep up to 2 guests. They also have inter-leading doors and a lounge, allowing for families or friends to share yet still have privacy. In addition, there is a uniquely appointed and spacious honeymoon suite offering incredible views all from the comfort of your bed.

When not out exploring the surrounding bush or spotting wildlife from your room, the main area of the lodge is where you will find the open lounge and dining area, along with a well-equipped library.
