Masodini Private Game Lodge

Masodini Private Game Lodge is located in the Balule Nature Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. The reserve is home to Africa's Big 5 - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo - as well as other mammals such as cheetah, hippo, zebra and antelope, not to mention a dazzling array of birdlife.

The lodge is surrounded by Fever trees and evergreen African date palms creating the perfect oasis, and overlooks a waterhole, providing the opportunity to view the visiting wildlife coming to drink.

Enjoy and experience game walks, game drives in open 4x4 game drive vehicles and wonderful birding opportunities in and around Masodini with an experienced guide. Your hosts will provide you with a wonderful and memorable experience through their personal service and attention.

After a day of safari activities, guests can relax In the boma, around an open fire, and enjoy sundowners and exceptional cuisine, whilst listening to the sounds of the night and observing a star filled African sky. There is nothing more peaceful and tranquil setting than gazing into an open crackling fire, clearing your mind, and just listening and absorbing the night.

Guests are accommodated in private, secluded and elegantly furnished chalets, each one decorated with an African theme.

All rooms have views out over the waterhole. Children of any age are also welcome, and the 2 bedroomed chalets are ideal for families.

There is also a small splash pool at the main lodge area, which everyone is welcome to use.

Rates Include

All meals are included. Game drives and walks are an additional cost (rates on request and payable directly to the lodge). IN ADDITION: For self-drive visitors, there is a R265 per person and a R110 per vehicle entrance fee, payable in cash or card at the entrance gate (subject to change).
