Jabali Ridge

Ruaha National Park

Jabali Ridge Location Map

Set on a rocky outcrop with views all the way to the Mwagusi River, overlooking a landscape dotted with spiky palms and large baobabs, Jabali Ridge occupies one of the best locations in Ruaha National Park.

Incorporating a range of ecosystems that support a number of different wildlife species, Ruaha is one of the largest wildlife conservation areas on the continent and is home to a tenth of the world’s lion population, with prides of 20 or more often seen. Large herds of greater and lesser kudu, sable and roan antelope are commonplace, along with sightings of African wild dog, the bat-eared fox, cheetah and the ever-elusive leopard.

Twice daily game drivers in open sided 6 seater game vehicles are offered, taking place the early morning, and late afternoon. A private game-viewing vehicle can alsobe booked by prior arrangement. For a more intimate game viewing experience, expose your senses to a walking safari and take in the sights, sounds and smells of the bush.

As the sun descends below the horizon, sip on a cold gin and tonic before heading out on a night drive in search of the shy nocturnal wildlife.

Hidden amongst the rocky boulders that surround the property, each of the 8 suites at Jabali Ridge have been designed to offer the best views of this stunning landscape from every corner. Be it from the bed, the deck, or even the bathroom, every space is a viewpoint and open to nature. Louvred shutters can be opened completely, blurring the lines between indoor and out, or closed for privacy.

In addition, there is also the Jabali Private House which is booked exclusively and perfect for a family or small group of friends. The house is built around 3 baobab trees and has 2 master bedrooms and an additional twin room. There are indoor and outdoor dining and relaxing areas, along with a private plunge pool.

The main areas at Jabali are predominantly open with the natural granite boulders providing privacy and shade. There is also an infinity pool which is the perfect place to cool off in the heat of the day, or head over to spa for a rejuvenating treatment.
