This is the ultimate safari adventure for anyone who happy to give up some of life's luxuries for a few days in order to see two of Kenya's most famous Parks at a budget price.
The 2 person dome tents at the mobile camps in Amboseli and the Masai Mara mean that this 6 night itinerary costs a fraction of what you would expect to pay at a more luxurious camp, but rest asured - you are not compromising on the wildlife experience at all.
All game drives are in 4WD customised safari vehicles taking a maximum of 6 passengers. Your driver-guide is a wildlife expert and certified by the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association.
Both tents on your adventure safari has its own private bathroom in a cubicle located behind the tent with flush toilet, wash basin and safari shower.
You will fly from Nairobi to the first camp, then onto the second camp, then back to Nairobi in a small light aircraft - adding to the adventure and giving you a bird's eye view of both Parks upon your descent to the airstrips.
Arrive into Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
After you have had your passports stamped by the Immigrations Officer, proceed to the Baggage Hall to collect your luggage and then go through Customs and exit the building onto the street outside, where our representative will be waiting to meet you, holding a signboard displaying your name. He will introduce you to your driver and you will then be transferred to Wilson Airport.
At Wilson Airport you will board the morning flight to the Selenkay Airstrip.
Safarilink 11 (Light Aircraft): Fly from Wilson Airport (WIL) departing at 07:30 to Selenkay Airstrip, arriving at 09:00
You will be met at the airstrip and transferred to your safari camp in the private Selenkay Conservancy, an important wildlife dispersal area for wildlife moving out of Amboseli National Park. The private conservation area ensures the best possible game viewing in proper off-road safari vehicles, off the beaten track and away from other tourist vans and minibuses. On one day you will venture into the Amboseli National Park, which is most famous for its elephant population, where herds of up to 100 can be seen on game drives, along with buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, impala and warthog. Not surprisingly, never far away from these herds of grazers are lion, leopard, cheetah, jackal, hyena and serval cat. The birdlife is also extremely good, with over 400 bird species recorded, including over 40 birds of prey.
After breakfast you will be transferred back to the airstrip where you will board your back to Nairobi.
Safarilink 12 (Light Aircraft): Fly from Selenkay Airstrip departing at 09:05 to Nairobi Wilson (WIL), arriving at 09:50
You will be met and assisted with boarding your next flight to the Masai Mara.
Safarilink 01 (Light Aircraft): Fly from Nairobi Wilson (WIL) departing at 10:00 to Naboisho/Ol Seki Airstrip, arriving at 11:00
Upon arrival at the airstrip in the Mara you will be transferred to the Gamewatchers Mobile Camp in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy, an exclusive 18,700 acre wilderness set aside as a wildlife sanctuary with a wide variety of species including big cats. The area has open plains, forests, rivers and stunning views. Game drives (shared) are in 4x4 safari vehicles with expert safari guides and you will experience the wilderness without the presence of other tourist vehicles.
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to the airstrip.
Safarilink 02 (Light Aircraft): Fly from Naboisho/Ol Seki Airstrip departing at 11:00 to Wilson Airport (WIL), arriving at 12:15
