Day 1
Arrive into Victoria Falls Airport. Go through Immigration, collect your luggage and clear Customs, then make your way outside the Arrivals Hall, where you will be met by your transfer driver who will be holding a sign board with your name on it. You will then be transferred to The Elephant Camp.
The Elephant Camp promises an intimate experience in the heart of the wilderness. Enjoy the many activities that the camp has to offer, including guided Falls tours, sundowner cocktails at the Batoka Gorge, village tours, sunset cruises, and game drives on the wildlife sanctuary where the lodge is located.
This morning, you will be transferred to the Kazungula border post, where you will complete the border formalities and have your passport stamped. You will then be transferred by small speed boat across the Zambezi River to Botswana, where you will present your passport and enter the country. You will then be transferred to Ngoma Safari Lodge.
Ngoma Safari Lodge is situated within the Chobe Forest Reserve bordering the western edge of Chobe National Park and overlooking the Chobe River. This property is located near the Ngoma Gate for entry to the Chobe Riverfront. Very few lodges are located on this end of the Park and few people utilize this entry point, creating a more remote and exclusive experience than at the properties around Kasane. Although outside the Park, the lodge is located in a bush setting where wildlife frequently passes through. Both walking and night drives are permitted and activities include game walks on the concession which are escorted by a professional guide, cruising on the Chobe River and game drives within the Chobe National Park.
