Summary Of The Route and Costs
This 10 night trip will take you from Kruger to the Cape with a whole host of experiences in between. Meeting elephants, seeing waterfalls and looking down into one of the largest green canyons in the world, and dining at one of Cape Town's finest restaurants are just a snapshot of what you can expect from this holiday.
Beginning with 3 nights in Hazyview, you have time to explore the Lowveld Panarama Route - one of the highlights is visiting Blyde River Canyon, the second largest canyon in Africa and 'green' due to the subtropical foliage. Or you can drive yourself into Kruger National Park if you want the thrill of driving along a road by yourself and coming across a pride of lions basking under a nearby tree, or waiting at a peaceful waterhole and having a sighting all to yourself - it is an experience that is hard to beat.
You will then spend 3 nights at Jabulani, a proud member of the Relais & Chateux portfolio. Here, you'll stay in one of just 6 luxurious suites, which are both spacious and elegant, and have a private viewing deck and splash pool. The reserve itself is rich with wildlife and a place of natural beauty. You also can meet the Jabulani elephants, whose herd has matured over time to become a very close knit family group. Each elephant has its own character and shares a unique bond with the rest of the group.
After Jabulani, you take a direct flight down to Cape Town for 4 nights at the One&Only Cape Town, in the heart of the beautifully restored Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, a brilliant base for exploring the city.

Arrive into Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport. Go through Immigration, collect your luggage and clear Customs, then make your way to the Domestic Departure Terminal and check in for your next flight.
Airlink 4Z827 (Economy Class): Fly from O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) departing at 10:25 to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (MQP), arriving at 11:20
Arrive into Kruger Mpumalanga Nelspruit Airport. Collect your luggage then make your way into the Arrivals Hall and follow the signs to the Europcar Rental office. Complete the necessary paperwork - you will need to present your driving licence, passport and credit card. The keys to your hire car will then be handed over to you.
3 Day Car Rental: Group R - Hyundai Grand Creta or similar (Contracted Classic GPS Package)
Drive to Hazyview (approximately 45 minutes). The small village of Hazyview is an ideal place to base yourself for a couple of days to explore the Lowveld area around the Kruger National Park. This is a beautiful area, with attractions including the Blyde River Canyon, the well known 'Panorama Route', elephant and chimp sanctuaries, and a couple of excellent animal rehabilitation projects.
Hazyview
After breakfast check out and allow about 2 hours to drive to the Eastgate/Hoedspruit Airport. Here you will be met by a Europcar representative who will collect your hire car from you. You will then be met by a Jabulani driver who will transfer you to the safari lodge.
Located within the Kapama Big Five private game reserve in the Greater Kruger Park area, Jabulani offers a unique opportunity for gracious living in a 5* luxury lodge. Your dedicated Jabulani ranger will ensure that your safari experience is tailor-made to your personal preference, whether laid back and relaxed or filled with game viewing and other activities. Learn about an inspiring journey that began with a herd of elephants being rescued nearly 20 years ago. The devoted elephant carers share insightful stories of their life journeys with the Jabulani herd, whilst you have opportunity to respectfully observe the elephants during their daily routines - while they enjoy their midday swim, forage in the wild and return single file to their stables in the evenings.
Kapama Game Reserve
After you return from your morning activity, you will be able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge before you are transferred back to the airport, arriving in time to check in for your afternoon flight to Cape Town.

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, collect your luggage and make your way into the Arrivals Hall where your driver will be waiting for you, holding a sign board with your name on it. You will then be transferred to the One&Only Cape Town.

Cape Town
You will be collected and transferred to the airport, arriving in time to check in for your flight home. If you have an evening flight, you will need to check out of your room this morning but you can store your luggage at the hotel until your transfer arrives. Alternatively, the hotel may be able to arrange a late check out for you (additional cost and payable directly to the hotel) subject to the availability of the room.
