Escape from the crowds on this 4 night getaway package. Begin with 2 nights in a small, friendly lodge situated along a secluded section of the Zambezi River but still within easy reach of the iconic Victoria Falls, before heading across into Botswana to stay at a lodge which will enable you to explore Chobe and all its wonders in peace and solitude.
Away from the noise and bustle of the activities around Livingstone Town itself, the perfect silence at Waterberry Zambezi Lodge is enhanced by birdsong, the sound of hyena and lion on the opposite bank and the whistle of frogs along the river’s edge. Cottages are set around sweeping gardens and lawns – some on the riverbank, some overlooking a private lake with beautiful birdlife. Activities included guided trips to the Falls, riverboat cruises, fishing, birding and village visits.
Situated in the much quieter western region of the Chobe National Park, Muchenje Safari Lodge offers a personalised service, with experienced guides looking after you every step of the way. Game drives in the Chobe National Park will get you close to the many, many elephants that reside here - no where in Africa are you going to see such large herds of elephants. Watching them drink, play and cross the river is something you are unlikely to ever forget. Or join a morning bush walk which explores the floodplain and open areas close to the lodge, or head off on a wonderful Chobe River cruise.
