This is a whirlwind week of world-class experiences. See the Big 5, sip sundowners on the Zambezi River and enjoy a helicopter ride over the Falls - all in the course of 7 nights!
Part of the Greater Kruger, Sabi Sand offers perhaps the finest Big Five game viewing in South Africa. Staying in an authentic safari chalet, you'll take game drives into the reserve at dawn and dusk, led by an expert guide and tracker. As the reserve is privately owned, your ranger can go off-road to find lion cubs playing in the shade of a tree or elephant gathered around a waterhole in the misty morning light.
Next, you'll take a flight to Livingstone in Zambia for the full Victoria Falls treatment. You'll spend 3 nights on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, overlooking the panorama of the Falls. From here, you can see ‘The Smoke that Thunders' or if you want to view it from a different perspective, we can arrange a helicopter ride right across the Falls so that you get to see it from a birds eye viewpoint. And why not round your trip off with a sunset cruise - aboard The Lady Livingstone, you will experience Africa in a unique style on the Zambezi River.
You will need to clear Customs and Immigration upon arrival at Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport. Collect your luggage, then make your way to the Domestic Departure Terminal and check in for your next flight. Passengers are required to check in at least 90 minutes before the flight departure.
South African Airways SA8841 (Economy Class): Fly from O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) departing at 11:05 to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (MQP), arriving at 11:50
You will be met in the Arrivals Hall by your driver, and driven to Notten's Bush Camp, one of the finest family run lodges in Africa, and the best kept secret in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
During your stay here, you will go out early morning and evening game drive safaris in an open-top Land Rover with an experienced game ranger, where you can enjoy sightings of the Big 5 and other wildlife in the region. Or go out on a unique walking safaris with a game ranger to bring you as close as you will ever get to true nature.
You will have an early breakfast and then you will be collected and transferred back to the airport in time to check in for your international flight to Livingstone.
South African Airways SA8870 (Economy Class): Fly from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (MQP) departing at 11:35 to Livingstone Airport (LVI), arriving at 13:10

Blending perfectly within the lush surrounds of the Zambezi river bank, The David Livingstone Safari Lodge and Spa offers 5* comfort only 7 km from Victoria Falls. The hotel boasts all river-facing accommodation so each guest can enjoy the view that once captivated David Livingstone, the intrepid explorer and missionary who was the first European to set eyes on the Falls.
Today enjoy a full tour of the Falls from both the Zambia and Zimbabwe side (PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NEED TO GET A VISA TO CROSS INTO ZIMBABWE - ADDITIONAL COST AND FOR GUESTS TO ARRANGE). A knowledgeable guide will take you on an unforgettable experience through the Victoria Falls rainforest, a journey that not only affords a view of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World but provides a great deal of interesting facts about the geology, wildlife and history of Africa's most famous landmark.
This afternoon you will be collected for your afternoon sundowner cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. Relax with a sundowner and snacks as you gaze out onto the banks of the river, and have your camera ready to capture one of the most amazing sunsets in Africa.
Today, you will be collected for a morning game drive in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park - situated along the upper Zambezi River, and stretches for about 12 kilometres up the Zambezi River above the Falls. It is only 66 square kilometres, so because the Park is small, it affords a wonderfully relaxing drive alongside the river for much of the circular route, and the wide variety of species can be easily seen. The Park provides a home for numerous antelope species, zebra, giraffe, warthog, and a variety of birds and smaller animals. Elephants cross the Zambezi and freely walk through the Park and the surrounding area.
You will be collected and transferred back to Livingstone Airport, arriving in time to check in for your flight back to Johannesburg.
