If you are short on time, this 9 night trip is whirlwind of sightseeing, experiences and unforgettable memories. Visit Himba and Herero tribes, enjoy a private sojourn into one of the oldest deserts in the world, and track black rhino through the bush.
After a night in Windhoek to recover from any lost sleep from your international flight to Namibia, you will be collected and transferred to the small Eros Airport, where you will board a flight across to Sossusvlei. Wilderness Safaris' Little Kulala celebrates the splendour and solitude of the Namib Desert. Excursions to Sossusvlei (via a gate exclusive to Wilderness Safaris vehicles), nature drives, walks and eco-sensitive quad biking means you get to explore this fascinating landscape to the full. A balloon safari (at extra cost) offers an awe-inspiring experience soaring above the desert.
You then fly to Hoanib Valley Camp where you will discover the true magnitude and magic of Namibia and visit a place that not many will ever have the chance to explore. This area is one of the best places to see desert adapted elephant, giraffe, lion, rhino, mountain zebra, and oryx, but you can also spend time with the local Herero and Himba people and learn a little of their fascinating way of life in such a harsh climate.
Another light aircraft flight takes you to the Ongava Private Concession, which borders the Etosha National Park. Ongava’s proximity to Etosha allows for game drives in the Etosha National Park and on the Ongava Reserve itself. Other possibilities include guided walks, birding and visiting hides. Ongava holds one of the largest rhino custodianships for the Namibian government in the country and is one of the few private game reserves in Southern Africa where guests can see both black and white rhino.
Finally, you flight back to Windhoek where you will check in for your flight home.
Arrive into Windhoek Airport. Go through Immigration, collect your luggage and clear Customs, then make your way to the Arrivals Hall, where you will be met by your transfer driver who will be holding a sign board with your name on it. You will then be transferred to your guest house.
The Olive Exclusive is contemporary and stylish but with a warm heart and authentic African soul. Its sleek, modern lines are complemented by organic textures, natural furnishings, an eco-friendly approach and dedicated personal service.
This afternoon, you will be met at the guest house by our representative, who will go through the itinerary with you in detail and answer any questions that you may have.
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to the airport, where you will board your light aircraft to Sossusvlei.

The world-famous Sossusvlei is the name of an enormous clay pan, flanked by the famous sand dunes that flush red in the early morning sun - as well as the name of the area in general. Close to the Sossusvlei Pan is Dead Vlei, another pan where water once flowed, but now all that remains are the skeletons of trees that reach up out of the cracked earth.
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to the airstrip, where you will board your flight to Hoanib Valley Camp.

It's also one of Namibia's most remote and wild environments, and one that not many will get the chance to discover in a lifetime. Hoanib Valley Camp is a joint venture between the local communities and the Giraffe Conservation Foundation, the world's only Africa-wide giraffe conservation organisation. The camp is an elegant, intimate affair that immerses you into the wilds of the desert. The 6 rooms blend seamlessly with the environment, offering a simple aesthetic that matches the rugged landscape down to a tee. Days are spent tracking endangered rhino, desert-adapted elephant, and of course desert-adapted giraffe, or visiting the local Herero and Himba tribes, before retiring to your private veranda to marvel at the magnitude of your surroundings.
