Certainly an option for the more independent and adventurous traveller, this 8 night itinerary takes you from Chobe and into the Delta. Your accommodation ranges from small lodges in towns and rural villages to a simple domed tent overlooking the Okavango floodplains and bush.
You begin with a flight to Kasane, where your first lodge is situated on the banks of the Chobe River. Game drives into the Chobe National Park (a short drive away) can be arranged at an additional cost, as can relaxing boat cruises. During your 2 nights here, you can look forward to no radios, no television and no 5* prices, just the beauty of the Chobe River and the birdlife for company.
A 60-80 minute air hop in a light aircraft will take you to your next lodge - the Khwai Guest House, situated in a rural, traditional village just on the outskirts of the Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta - the oldest and first protected reserve of the Okavango Delta. Moremi covers about 40% of the Okavango and offers excellent game viewing year-round and stunning landscapes - you may be lucky to encounter elephants, hippos, buffalos, blue wildebeests, impalas, red lechwe, giraffes, impalas and even wild dog on your twice daily excursions.
Finally, Oddballs Camp will be your host for your last 2 nights on this amazing adventure. Situated on the edge of Chief's Island deep in the heart of the Delta, mokoro excursions and guided bush walks with your private professional guide will round off your Botswana safari experience fully.

You will then be transferred onto The Old House, situated in Kasane and adjacent to the Chobe River. The guest house is conveniently located within walking distance to all shops and a 10-15 minute drive to the entrance of the Chobe National Park. Boat cruises can also be arranged.
