Adventure Tours

Travel Butlers Safari Holidays

Camping or Accommodated Group Tours for the Adventurous

An adventure tour will be filled with holiday highlights and memories from start to finish.

Adventure tours are for people who have a zest for life and a lust for adventure. The tours cover many African countries - South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethopia and Madagascar.

If you have an interest in people, places and wildlife, then these tours are for you. Travelling with a group of likeminded people lets you simply enjoy your time in Africa and meet new people without the hassle of worrying about meals, accommodation or logistics. The tour groups tend to average around 18 people, from all walks of life, age and nationalities. Although there are often couples and groups of friends travelling together, most travellers are single and the male/female mix generally works out about equal.

All the adventure tours that we offer are unique and ‘off the beaten track’ and the emphasis is on the journey as well as the destination. And as this is Africa, delays and unexpected events are all part of the ‘package’ and often add to your adventure!

You have the choice of either a camping tour or an accommodated tour, and single supplements are available if you didn’t want to share with anyone else.

The tours use a modern fleet of vehicles and the guides are passionate, professional and committed to ensuring all guests have a fantastic time. We can also offer ‘Green Seats’, which offers guests the opportunity to offset their carbon footprint.

Here is just a small selection of some of the adventure tours you can join:
