Villa Mushara is situated a mere 8 kilometres from the Von Lindequist gate of the world famous Etosha National Park. The rugged harsh wilderness of Etosha combined with the exquisite accommodation and cuisine of Villa Mushara offers a stark contrast, which has been depicted in the villas through the use of opposing textures.

Etosha National Park is one of Southern Africa's finest and most important Game Reserves, which was declared a National Park in 1907.

The park covers an area of 22,270 sq km and is home to 114 mammal species, 340 bird species, 110 reptile species, 16 amphibian species and one species of fish.

Each secluded thatched villa has its own unique ambience, fine detail has been considered from a small private library in each villa to a silver candle snuff in the en-suite bathroom.

Air-conditioning will moderate the outside climate and the mini bar with its comprehensive selection of beverages, will satisfy even the most discerning palates. There is a kingsize bed, fireplace in the lounge and a private terrace with a plunge pool along with an outside shower.

Rates Include

Directions For Drivers

From Windhoek: Drive North on the B1. Go through Okahandja, Otjiwarongo, and Tsumeb, and continue to follow the B1 for 94 km until you get to the turning for the C38. Turn left here onto the C38 (towards Namutoni) and the entrance to Mushara is on the left-hand side about 12 km along this road.

From the Etosha National Park: Drive through the Von Lindequist Gate onto the C38, and the entrance to Mushara is about 8 km down the road on the right-hand side.

Each villa has a small private library, air conditioning, mini bar, a private plunge pool and sala.

The thatched public area includes a small library with a selection of good books, a bar with an extensive wine cellar, an airy lounge complete with welcoming fireplace for winter evenings, a dining area and a well stocked curio shop.

Villa Mushara is situated 8 km from the Von Lindequist Gate into the Etosha National Park. The game viewing vehicles are spacious and comfortable and offer 360 degree unobstructed views from elevated seats. The guides receive up-to-date information on game movement and therefore have a high success rate for spotting game.
