Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp (South) Location Map

Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp moves between 2 different locations during the year, following the migration as it travels across the Serengeti plains, offering guests access to this incredible spectacle. The canvas-constructed camp has little impact on the environment, casting a lighter ecological shadow when moved.

The camp is situated in the Southern Serengeti plains from the beginning of December until the end of March, about a 10-15 minute drive from Serengeti South Airstrip.

The main camp features a grand central canopied area where the main tent flows into lounges and dining wings, where you can savour international flavours conjured up by the chef and his team. Evenings can be spent gathered by the traditional fire pit and exchanging stories under starry skies and listening to tales of wildlife encounters from the passionate guides.

Sundowners are a must on any safari, and the perfect way to end the day and take some time to enjoy the magnificnet sunsets of Africa. Enjoy a refreshing drink or a signature cocktail as you celebrate the end of the day, all while being surrounded by thousands of wildebeest and zebras.

Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp takes the traditional tented camping experience to new heights.

An elegant contemporary take on the classic safari theming, the 10 luxury tents have all been styled with distinction. Each tent has a wooden deck perfect for spending an hour or so in between game drives and sipping on a freshly brewed cup of Tanzania’s finest coffee. The en-suite bathroom features an authentic bucket shower and your personal tent attendant is available around the clock to fill each bucket shower to the perfect temperature.
