Directions

From Port Elizabeth: Take the N2 to Grahamstown. Approximately 50 km from Port Elizabeth is an intersection, keep left on the N2 and continue towards Grahamstown for a further 15 km, until you see the Amakhala Game Reserve signage. There are 3 other Amakhala lodges before you reach the Carnarvon Dale entrance. The road sign for the lodge is on the left hand side, and the entrance is also on the left, and flanked by white walls and 2 gum trees. Follow the gravel road 1.5 km to the lodge.
