Bukela Lodge
Bukela Lodge is situated in the Bushmans River Conservancy, just 40 minutes drive from Port Elizabeth.
In addition, the proximity of the coast to Bukela Lodge offers guests the opportunity of enjoying the bush and discovering the pristine beaches of the Eastern Cape.
This area has been created to offer visitors a malaria free and intimate encounter with the African bushveld and the Big 5 - elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo and leopard.
A tranquil cruise down the winding Bushmans river can be organized on request. Enjoy a sundowner with snacks where you may catch a glimpse of a timid bush buck in the riverine forest.
The river cruise affords the best opportunity of viewing the rare African Finfoot as well as the less rare but more majestic Fish Eagle.
The main lodge comprises of a reception, dining and sitting area with a central fireplace, a media and library area, and a large wooden pool deck overlooking a small dam. The boma adjoins the main lodge where bush braais may be enjoyed.

All meals, teas, snacks and 2 daily safaris and guided walks are included.
Children of any age are welcome. Rates available on request. Children 6 years and under are not allowed on normal game drives, but special 'Kiddies' game drives are available. Children over 6 are allowed on game drives at the discretion of the ranger. Baby sitters are available on request.
