Guest Information for Shearer's Lodge.

Check-In and Check-Out Times

Rooms may be occupied from 2 pm on the day of arrival, but if you want to arrive earlier for lunch, please can you let the lodge know in advance so that they can prepare this for you - lunch is normally served around 12.30 pm. Please ensure that you arrive by 2.30 pm at the very latest, or else you may miss your first afternoon game drive.

Rooms must please be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.

Published Rates Include

All meals, selected drinks and 2 activities per day (game drives, river cruises, canoeing, guided walks or night drives) are included.

The rate excludes premium drinks, telephone, laundry, shop purchases, transfers and any gratuities.

Children Policy

Children of all ages are welcome. Rates available on request. Children under the age of 6 years are not allowed to join the adult’s game drive. The children will have their own activities and a programme designed for their age group. Children will dine earlier (7 pm) than their parents, and after dinner they will have the opportunity watch a video in the family room. Child minders are available to look after babies while the adults are on their game activities and at meal times.
