A wonderful welcome awaits you at Rhulani Safari Lodge, which is situated in the spectacular 76,000 hectare malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, just 4 hours from Johannesburg or 2 hours from Sun City.

Sensational game viewing opportunities await you at Rhulani, whether from the morning and afternoon game drives on an open land rover or on foot with your experienced game ranger, or from right in front of the lodge at the nearby water-hole. As well as elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo, the Reserve is also home to wild dog, cheetah, plains game including gemsbok, springbok, zebra and giraffe, and over 340 species of birds.

Inbetween game drives, guest can relax around the meandering rock pool around which you will find ample sun or shade provided by beautiful old Marula trees, an ideal spot for quiet contemplation.

There is also a library with an interesting selection of books for your reading pleasure.

Dining alfresco under a glorious African night sky, warmed by a roaring fire is a magical way to end a perfect day. The traditional Southern African cuisine is complimented by a selection of world-class local wines.

There are 7 luxury chalets plus 1 luxury family suite in total, each with private deck and plunge pool, en-suite bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers, air-conditioning and mini bar.

Brunch, high tea and dinner, morning and evening game drives and bush walks are included. PLEASE NOTE: For self-drive visitors, the cash entrance fee of R150 per adult and R100 per child (subject to change) to enter the reserve is NOT included. For guests arriving and departing via FedAir, the landing / departure fees are also excluded and are payable directly to the lodge (rates on request).

Children of any age are welcome. Rates available on request. Children under the age of 6 are not allowed on the game drives, and children between the ages of 6 and 12 are only allowed at the sole discretion of the game ranger.
