Renata Gaggio welcomes guests to this lovely renovated 1888 Missionary station, which has an elegant yet homely ambiance. There are 8 well-appointed en-suite bedrooms and suites, some of which open onto private patios and gardens, and one which has its own private sun deck.

You will be assured of every comfort and luxury in a relaxed surrounding. Help yourself to a drink, listen to some music or read a book, or just admire the magnificent views from the garden or by the swimming pool.

The guesthouse is only a short walk from many of the town's best restaurants, however guests can also enjoy a light lunch on the veranda with great mountain views or join Renata for the three course Italian set menu served on the veranda and in the candlelit restaurant in the evening.

"Our next stay was in Franschhoek. Thank you for advising us to stay in this lovely quaint town, we wouldn't have known about it otherwise and it was easily the most beautiful location.

We would have liked to stay there for a whole week, especially at Residence Klein Oliphants Hoek where again we were treated to pure luxury. We especially liked the plunge pool overlooking the mountains - what an amazing view!

We had a lovely meal at Le Bon Vivant as recommended. The surprise menu with matching wines was superb!"
