Set into a cliff-face overlooking the beautiful Leopard Rock, the Phinda Rock Lodge is an absolute delight. Its intimate suites are seemingly suspended over the deep valley below, providing breathtaking views.

Set in the Phinda Private Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, and renowned as offering one of the finest game-viewing experiences, Phinda features not only the Big 5, but a plethora of other animals and birds within its 22,000 hectares. Activities include twice-daily game-drives, nature walks, rhino tracking, and riverboat cruises and canoe trips along the Mzinene River.

Guests can enjoy fiery sunsets over South Africa's bushveld from the game viewing deck, before settling down for dinner.

Delicious Pan-African cuisine is served to you in the dining area under hand-wrought chandeliers, on the lodge's exclusive deck or enjoyed in the privacy of your suite.

Phinda is renowned for excellent cuisine served in adventurous bush clearings under the African night sky.

The intimate Rock Lodge offers 6 contoured stone suites.

Each suite has a spacious bedroom with bath, shower, twin hand basins and separate toilet.

All suites have their own private sitting area, personal bar, and solid wooden shutters and doors opening onto a private plunge pool and deck offering unrivalled views of the spectacular Leopard Rock and the valley.

3 meals daily including all teas and coffees, 2 scheduled game drives daily in an open 4x4 safari vehicle, accompanied by an experienced ranger and tracker OR canoeing OR river boat cruises on the Mzinene River, interactive bush walks (one hour) accompanied by an experienced armed tracker, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, soft drinks and bottled water, laundry service and emergency medical evacuation insurance are included.

The rate excludes all other extras, any road or air transfers to and from the lodge and all airport taxes.
