Check-In and Check-Out Times

Guests are welcome to arrive any time from 12 midday. If possible, aim to arrive at the lodge around this time, so you can check into your room and relax before your first afternoon game drive, but if you don't think you can arrive by this time, you should aim to arrive by 3 pm at the very latest, or else you may miss the afternoon drive.

Rooms must please be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.

Published Rates Include

2 game drives in open Land Rovers, 3 meals daily, game drive refreshments, teas and coffees, and Skukuza airport transfers are included. Subject to weather conditions, the rate also includes bush breakfasts and bush dinners, bush walks, full moon walks, wildlife lectures, safari lunches, hippopotamus river tour and astronomy.

The rate excludes curio shop purchases, laundry service, all beverages, health spa treatments, telephone calls, staff gratuities, any other road or air transfers to and from the lodge, all airport taxes and applicable Sabi Sand entrance fees.

Children Policy

Children aged 10 years and older are welcome. Rates available on request. Children under 10 can only be accommodated IF the entire lodge is block-booked by the same group of family - rates available on request. Children under 16 years old are not allowed on bush walks.

Other Useful Information

A private Land Rover is available for hire (subject to availability) - rates available on request, and the Land Rover can be hired for a minimum 2 day period.

Activities that can be arranged at an additional cost include private Land Rover hire (exclusivity, specialist photography, bird watching), clay pigeon shooting, tree house experience, ballooning, cultural village visit, golf, helicopter flip over the Blyde River Canyon and God's Window.

There is a small gym for guests use if required.
