Kings Camp is situated in the north-eastern corner of the Timbavati private nature reserve, which is 60,000 hectares of pristine African bush adjoining the world famous Kruger National Park.

The lodge is dedicated to giving their guests a gracious style of hospitality from a bygone era, combined with a flexibility that puts the comfort and requests of their guests first. The principal attraction is the astonishing diversity and abundance of wildlife species that inhabit the reserve, including the Big 5 - lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo.

Morning and afternoon game drives with knowledgeable rangers take place in open vehicles.

Your afternoon game drive gets back after dark, which gives you the opportunity to spot the nocturnal animals with a spotlight.

The lodge's facilities include a lounge/dining room, an exceptional wine cellar, bar, pool terrace and a game viewing platform which overlooks a very active waterhole, curio shop, gym and library with internet facilities.

This intimate lodge guarantees comfort and personal service for a memorable stay.

The 10 luxury thatched suites are all beautifully and tastefully appointed, with all luxuries at hand - from romantic, soft cascading mosquito nets, remote controlled air-conditioning, fully stocked mini bar fridge, and tea / coffee making facilities.

All suites also have indoor and private outdoor showers.

Price Guide: From ZAR4240 ( approx U$ 570 ) per person. Special Offers may apply - prices on request.

All meals and accommodation, tea / coffee, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, soft drinks and 2 game drives daily with refreshments and nature walks are included. PLEASE NOTE: The Tourism Bed Levy (R10 per person per night (subject to change) and all other drinks are NOT included. IN ADDITION: There is a one-off Conservation fee of R150 per person payable directly to the lodge when you arrive. For self-drive visitors, there is also a one-off cash vehicle entrance fee of R120 per vehicle payable at the main Control Gate. All rate subject to change. For guests arriving and departing via FedAir, the landing / departure fees are also excluded (payable directly to the lodge - rates on request).

Children aged 6 years and older are welcome. Rates available on request. All children are allowed on normal game drives.
