Kings Camp Private Game Reserve
Kings Camp is situated in the north-eastern corner of the Timbavati private nature reserve, which is 60,000 hectares of pristine African bush adjoining the world famous Kruger National Park.
The lodge is dedicated to giving their guests a gracious style of hospitality from a bygone era, combined with a flexibility that puts the comfort and requests of their guests first. The principal attraction is the astonishing diversity and abundance of wildlife species that inhabit the reserve, including the Big 5 - lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo.
Your afternoon game drive gets back after dark, which gives you the opportunity to spot the nocturnal animals with a spotlight.
The lodge's facilities include a lounge/dining room, an exceptional wine cellar, bar, pool terrace and a game viewing platform which overlooks a very active waterhole, curio shop, gym and library with internet facilities.
The 10 luxury thatched suites are all beautifully and tastefully appointed, with all luxuries at hand - from romantic, soft cascading mosquito nets, remote controlled air-conditioning, fully stocked mini bar fridge, and tea / coffee making facilities.
All suites also have indoor and private outdoor showers.
All meals and accommodation, tea / coffee, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, soft drinks, and 2 game drives daily with refreshments and nature walks are included.
The rate excludes cellar wines, premium brand spirits, champagne, cognacs, cigars and cigarettes, telephone calls, curio-shop purchases, transfers, gratuities, additional activities, wellness treatments and laundry, tourism levy of R10 per person per night (subject to change) and applicable Timbavati vehicle entrance / Conservation fees.
Children aged 6 years and older are welcome. Rates available on request. All children are allowed on normal game drives.
