Entabeni Kingfisher Lodge
The Entabeni Private Game Reserve is 22,000 hectares of malaria-free, unspoilt game viewing wilderness in the beautiful Waterberg mountain range, less than a 3 hour drive from Johannesburg.
Guests can enjoy guided game drives and bush walks with qualified rangers to view Africa's Big 5. Lion are often seen on game drives, and the elephants that roam the reserve make for awesome viewing. Rhino are very frequently encountered, and there is a large population of buffalo. The ever elusive leopard can also be seen if you are lucky, and even a fleeting glance is a privilege and definitely a highlight of any safari.
As well as game drives, guests can also participate in horseback safaris and even helicopter flights, all which add up to a safari experience 'beyond comparison'.
The reserve also has 2 Wellness / beauty centres for the ultimate relaxation, and the opportunity to visit the Pedi Cultural village for an authentic glimpse into the lives, celebrations and traditions of one of South Africa's indigenous tribes.
The sparkling pool set in lush garden surroundings is an ideal setting to relax between game drives, while the boma with its lanterns under African skies creates magical evenings.
The honeymoon suite features an exquisite 4 poster bed and jacuzzi bath. The luxury suites, furnished in African Baroque style, have private sun decks with breathtaking views across the wetlands and vast open plains. Enchanting gardens provide a paradise of foliage and tranquillity.
All meals and morning / afternoon game drives are included. Other activities are an additional cost.
