Directions

From Hazyview
Take the R40 from Hazyview towards Bushbuckridge. Continue on this road for approximately 62 km from Hazyview, then turn right towards Acornhoek (Manyeleti / Thulamahashe turn-off). Continue on the tarred road (you will pass Hluvukani petrol station on your right hand side) until you reach a sign showing the turn for Seville (onto a gravel road) off to the right. Take the Seville turn and follow the gravel road (there will be Sabi Sand signs along the way) until you reach a T-junction. Turn left (again, there will be Sabi Sand signs as well as signs for the various lodges) and continue straight along the gravel road until reaching the Gowrie Entrance Gate into the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.

For all visitors, there is a cash entrance fee payable of R30 per person to enter the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, which is payable at the entrance gate. Self-drive visitors must ALSO pay a R120 per vehicle entrance fee (R150 from 1st January 2012), also payable in cash at the entrance gate. All rates subject to change. Please retain your receipt as proof of entrance and have it stamped at your destination when you are leaving, which acts as your Exit Permit.

Once inside the gate, follow the signs to the lodge. Allow between 30-40 minutes to drive through the reserve to reach the lodge.

Do not get out of your car until you reach the lodge. You may see some wildlife on your way - if you do, slow down and maintain a good distance. Do not drive off-road in any circumstances.

From Eastgate Airport / Hoedspruit
Take the R40 towards Bushbuckridge, and continue along this road until you get to the Acornhoek (Manyeleti / Thulamahashe turn-off) on your left, then follow the directions as above.

From Johannesburg / Pretoria
Take the N12 or N4 highway to Witbank / eMalahleni (from Johannesburg Airport, follow signs to Boksburg to find the N12). Follow the N4 highway past Middleburg (Toll Plaza), Belfast / eMakhazeni and Machadodorp (Toll Plaza). Follow the Schoemanskloof option on the N4 and then take the R36 to Lydenburg / Mashishing.

Follow the R36 to Ohrigstad, go through the Strydom Tunnel and take the R527 to Hoedspruit. Turn right onto the R40 towards Klaserie, and continue along this road until you get to the Acornhoek (Manyeleti / Thulamahashe turn-off) on your left, then follow the directions as above.

From Kruger National Park / Orpen Gate
Exit the Park, and continue along the R531. Turn left onto the R40, and continue along this road until you get to the Acornhoek (Manyeleti / Thulamahashe turn-off) on your left, then follow the directions as above.
