Djuma Bush Lodge
Djuma Game Reserve (pronounced 'joo-ma') is situated in the northern part of the world famous Sabi Sand Game Reserve. There are no game fences between it and the vast ecosystem that is the Kruger National Park, where African wildlife reigns supreme and man is a temporary visitor.
Djuma Bush Lodge has earned its excellent reputation over the years, and its relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere encourages guests to truly relax and become one of the Djuma family.
Dinner is a 4 course meal, either served in the dining room or under the African sky, around a roaring fire in the boma.
The safari experience here is unique in that the rangers do not only concentrate on the Big 5, but guests can also learn about the history of the reserve.
All chalets are en-suite, with air-conditioning, overhead fans and mosquito nets.
The main pool is in a small grove of tamboti trees and is always delightfully cool. There are also 2 viewing decks which overlook a water-hole, which is frequently visited by wildlife, both day and night.
Morning / afternoon game drives, a guided walking trail, full breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea with fresh bakes, dinner and tourism levy are included.
