Bush Lodge
Bush Lodge is situated in the 7,000 hectare Big 5 Amakhala Game Reserve. This beautifully designed lodge offers an intimate safari experience, and is situated right in the heart of the reserve at the top end of an open valley.
The reserve is divided by the N2 main highway, and the smaller section is home to the lions, who roam freely and enjoy a natural hunting habitat. Guests can go on morning and evening game drives in an open Land Rover in search of wildlife including not only lion, but rhino, elephant, cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, black wildebeest, zebra, and over 16 antelope species.
In the evening, guests can enjoy award winning South African wines and local cuisine under a magnificent canopy of stars. The resident chef will treat you with gastronomic delights presented with African flair to end off the perfect day.
Each suite also has its own secluded private viewing deck with an intimate plunge pool, making this a truly wonderful and luxurious bush retreat.
