Nile Safari Lodge is a luxury eco-friendly safari lodge located on the Victoria Nile River banks in the heart of the Murchison Falls National Park and offers spectacular views of the river.
Three mouthwatering meals are served daily, as well as high tea before the afternoon game drive. Guests can dine in the restaurant or outdoor on one of the terraces or at the pergola. If you prefer a more intimate experience, you can have a private candle light dinner on the terrace of your suite.
There is a beautiful infinity pool and a spa with a full range of massage treatments.
Undoubtedly the highlight of any safari is the game drive. From the comfort of your 4x4 safari vehicles, you can experience the thrill of viewing wildlife in its natural environment. You are certain to spot and catch some great photos. An excellent alternative to the game drive is an exciting boat ride along the green and lush curves of the mystical Nile with a perfect view of the Murchison Falls. The Nile river cruise is an adventure and an ideal place to spot various animals gathered along the river, while slowly cruising down the river. On the river, you will be welcomed by the peaceful African savannah elephant, wading through the shallow waters and you can’t miss a school of hippos as well as the other mammals. The hike to the top of the Murchison Falls is also an activity for nature lovers.
Accommodation is in 8 secluded bandas equipped with en-suite facilities, a private view deck with deck chairs and a mosquito net.
There are 6 Deluxe Bandas which provide a high level of luxury and service. The en-suite bathrooms have a traditional free-standing bathtub, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the evening views, as well as a monsoon high-pressure indoor shower, vital for the early morning safari game drives and an outdoor shower designed to embrace the beauty of the nature surrounding your banda.
There is one Exclusive Banda which is the perfect room to spend a romantic getaway. With its breathtaking views, it is the ideal place to relax with a drink or a book. Its uniqueness is in its private plunge pool and daybed overlooking the River Nile.
The Family Villa is the ideal option for larger groups. It accommodates four adults and four children and has two master bedrooms with four single beds and two kingsize beds, a spacious living room and a private terrace with optional lunch service. The Villa also has a private swimming pool with a stunning view of the shoebill peninsula.
