The Long Beach is in the picturesque lobster-fishing village of Kommetjie, a short drive from Cape Town, situated on a breathtaking 8 km of unspoiled white sands. This 6 bedroomed luxury beach house offers spectacular ocean views - a unique alternative to the conventional holiday experience.

Each of The Long Beach's suites and rooms were designed with comfort in mind - to make the most discerning guest feel relaxed and thoroughly pampered. Enjoy the serenity of a dream home away from home, at the same time discovering the beauty and exhilaration of the incredibly scenic southern Cape Peninsula.

Kommetjie is a delightfully rustic and unspoiled seaside village away from the maddening crowds.

The unusual name derives from 'Little Bowl' - the sheltered natural tidal pool which has provided safe bathing since the turn of the 1800s.

The coastline around Kommetjie draws tourists and locals today as it did then, offering safe swimming spots, phenomenal surf breaks and excellent snorkelling and diving.

Each of the 6 luxurious suites and rooms are decorated with hand-painted natural fabrics that echo the colours of the exquisite coastal setting and depict views of the Atlantic Beach. Guests can step off the pool sundeck just outside their elegant suite straight onto the unspoilt dunes.

A chauffeur service is available and free local drinks are part of the hospitality. Breakfast is served overlooking the pool deck and the beach, with lunch and dinner available on request in the elegant dining room.
