Check-In and Check-Out Times

Cottages may be occupied from 2 pm on the day of arrival, and must please be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.

Published Rates Include

Self-catering basis (no meals are included). Breakfast baskets are available at an extra cost (on request).

Children Policy

Children of all ages are welcome. Rates available on request.

Other Useful Information

No 'extra' visitors are allowed at the cottages, unless special arrangements have been made with management. An extra fee is charged for day visitors.

No loud music or excessive noise is allowed that may disturb other visitors. Visitors are also not allowed to ride quad bikes or motor bikes on the farm.

Please !! NO smoking is allowed inside the cottages. Ashtrays are provided outside.

Remember to bring the following: all the food you require for your stay; charcoal and fire lighters (bags of wood for sale at Saamrus); binoculars and bird books; mosquito repellent; comfortable walking shoes.

Saamrus supply all the cutlery, crockery, linen, pillows, blankets and towels. However, cottages are not normally serviced during your stay. Servicing can be requested at a extra charge of R20 per service for 2 people (more for group bookings and subject to change).
