Kavita Lion Lodge

A unique wilderness experience, warm hospitality and personal attention await you at Kavita Lion Lodge, situated on a game ranch in northwest Namibia.

A stay here offers guests the opportunity to see the work of the non-profit Afri-Leo Foundation, which is dedicated to the protection and conservation of the Namibian lion. Guests are introduced to the first phase of the Project, including an overview of the Lion Sanctuary, where 5 lion rescued from Namibia's last zoo now have their home.

Other activities include early morning bush walks, birding trails and the bird hide, the 'Dassie' Trail, 'Dik-Dik' Trail, and open-vehicle game and nature drives to see the large variety of indigenous wildlife (including eland, oryx, black-faced impala, springbok, giraffe and zebra) and to enjoy the spectacular views over Damaraland.

There is also a large swimming pool in the garden for all to enjoy.
