Rooms may be occupied from 2 pm on the day of arrival. If possible, aim to arrive at the lodge around this time, so you can check into your room and relax before your first afternoon game drive, but if you don't think you can arrive by this time, you should aim to arrive by 3 pm at the very latest, or else you may miss the afternoon drive.
Rooms must please be vacated by 10.30 am on the day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests.
Published Rates Include
Three meals per day (special bush dinners can be arranged), tea / coffee, cakes, pastries and afternoon teatime snacks, 2 game drives daily (including night drive by spotlight) in open safari vehicles, accompanied by experienced rangers and expert Shangaan trackers, complimentary road transfers between your Kapama accommodation and Eastgate Airport are included. PLEASE NOTE: All other drinks are NOT included.

During your stay at Kapama, the following additional activites can be arranged - rates available on request :
Romantic Sleepout – nothing can top the experience of sleeping with your loved one on a high platform deep in the African bush, on a bed of white linen surrounded by lanterns and billowing mosquito netting. A luxurious bathroom with flush toilet is below you.
Kapama Body & Skin Treatments - the new Kapama Wellness Centre will be open in 2008 with 17-metre lap pool, gym, steam room and four luxurious treatment rooms. For now a full range of Matisse body and skin treatments are offered.
Hot Air Ballooning – let the wind drift you towards the Drakensberg Mountains or across the game reserve to spot game from the air.
Elephant Back Safari – get up close and personal with an African elephant and see Kapama Game Reserve from his back.

Hoedspruit Centre for Endangered Species – see rescued cheetah and other animals to be rehabilitated at close range and learn all about them at this unique conservation establishment
